Solo Leveling is an anime adaptation Webtoons which tells the story of Sung Jin Woo's life as a Hunter.

At first, he was known as the weakest Hunter. However, with that little power, Jin Woo still joins the hunt to support his family.

One day, he discovers a system that allows him to level up and gain new abilities.

One of his strongest abilities is to extract the souls of Dead Warriors and resurrect them as Shadows.

Sung Jin Woo's 7 Strongest Shadows

Despite having various types of Shadows, there are some that have an advantage in strength over other Shadows.

Each Shadow has its own unique rank and abilities. Here are Sung Jin Woo's 7 strongest Shadows!

Tank

Tank first appeared when Sung Jin Woo encountered the Red Gate. After exploring deep enough, Jin Woo's team found the nest of the Ice Bears and Ice Elves.

Because it was dangerous, Kim Chul, who was an A Rank Hunter and also the team leader, then told Hunters with Ranks below C not to join.

However, Jin Woo did not want to miss the golden opportunity to level up. He then took the risk to enter the Ice Bear territory and killed them all, including the Boss.

After defeating the Boss of the Ice Bears, Jin Woo added him to the Shadow Army and gave him the name “Tank”. He currently holds the rank of Knight.

Jima

Even though he hasn't appeared very often in Solo Leveling, Jima's strength is one of the best Shadows.

Jinwoo first met him while participating in the Ahjin Guild. Armed with tridents, the Hunters were unable to defeat the power and magical abilities of the sea dragon.

Jin Woo then defeats Jima and resurrects him as one of his Shadows. This Shadow with the rank of Elite Knight has great manipulation and regeneration abilities.

Greed

The next strongest Shadow is Greed. This Shadow previously belonged to a powerful S Rank Hunter from the Scavenger Guild, Hwang Dong Soo.

Dong Soo has a great hatred for Sung Jin Woo based on the assumption that he killed his brother.

After successfully defeating Dong Soo, Jin Woo then extracts his Shadow and gives it a new name, “Greed”.

Greed has the rank of General and has the ability to regenerate and increase his strength significantly.

Igris

Igris is a Shadow with the rank of Marshal that Jin Woo obtained after a fierce battle in a Dungeon.

In this Dungeon, he must fight the Necromancers who keep summoning many soldiers to attack him.

After successfully finding the Necromancer's attack pattern, Jin Woo managed to defeat them all and gain the Shadow Extraction ability.

He finally managed to extract the red knight at the entrance of the Dungeon and gave it the name Igris.

Igris has the ability to regenerate, has great strength and telekinesis. When he managed to reach the rank of Marshal, he finally gained the ability to speak.

New

Jin Woo obtained Beru during the Jeju Island Arc. Beru's abilities as Ant King are equal to or even stronger than S-rank Hunters.

He managed to defeat Goto Ryuji alone, someone who is recognized as the strongest Hunter in Japan. Beru even managed to corner other S Rank Hunters who called him impossible to defeat.

Jin Woo managed to defeat Beru by surpassing him in terms of strength and speed. This Marshall-ranked Shadow has many super abilities, one of which is regeneration.

Before joining The United States as one of their Hunters, Jin Woo asked to meet with Kamish.

Kamish is a dragon that even Thomas Andre has a hard time defeating. This request was granted and he finally managed to defeat Kamish and extract him as one of the Shadows.

Kamish was so powerful that he acted on his own even though he was still under Jin Woo's control. Unfortunately, he couldn't last long as a Shadow because Kamish had been dead for a long time.

This Shadow with the rank of Marshal has the abilities Dragon's Fear, Dragon's Breath, and increased strength.

Bellion

Jin Woo's strongest Shadow right now is Bellion, the only monster he didn't get by fighting.

Bellion was one of Ashborn's final gifts from the Monarch War. Previously, he served Ashborn as one of the most powerful figures in his army.

Bellion is a Shadow with the rank of Grand Marshal who has colossal strength, strong defense, high speed and is able to regenerate.

The power of this Shadow is seen in his short fight against Beru. Bellion managed to defeat Beru with his long sword.
