3 Ways to Get to Volcano Manor in Elden Ring

How to Get to Volcano Manor

There are three ways to go to Volcano Manor, namely by completing the questline from Rya, being teleported by the enemy, and going through Altus Plateau.

Questline Rya

The first way to reach Volcano Manor is to complete Rya's quest. You can meet him in Liurnia of the Lakes, east of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace.

Rya will ask you to get her favorite necklace back. After completing this character's quest, you will receive a Volcano Manor Invitation.

If you manage to find the two parts of the Dectus Medallion, Rya will be above the Grand Lift of Dectus. If it doesn't work, Rya will be in the Lux Ruins.

If you talk to him, he will move you to a lobby next to Tanith, an NPC in Volcano Manor.

Virgin Abductor

The second way to go to Volcano Manor is to be teleported by an enemy. If you use this method, you will have to face Abductor Virgins, a boss with a high level of difficulty.

If you meet Patches and chat with him on Scenic Isle, he will probably mention about the Abductor Virgin at Raya Lucaria Academy who has the ability to teleport.

Go to the Abductor Virgin by looking for a waterwheel elevator which is north of the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace.

Go down and here you have to be killed by the Abductor Virgin in this area. There is a special attack that has a trap effect, you must be killed by this attack.

Use the Sacrificial Twig or Twiggy Cracked Tear effect to prevent you from losing the Rune while teleporting.

This way, Abductor Virgin can send you to the Volcano Manor area. Jump over the flowing lava and head southeast, jumping on several cliff ledges until you reach a rock structure.

From here, you need to climb the stairs to the Subterranean Inquisition Chamber Site of Grace. After activating it, you will not be able to go back when jumping on pillars that fall in lava.

Here you can get Smithing Stones (4) and (6) from the corpses. Jump from one pillar to another until you reach a small cave to the south.

The cave looks like a dead end, but you will see a mound of earth right behind it. When you step on it, you will fall into another part of the cave.

Go south and later you will meet a foggy door. Behind the door are Abductor Virgins who will give the Inquisitor's Girandole when defeated.

After defeating him, the Abductor Virgin Site of Grace will appear and you can leave the cave to go to Mount Gelmir.

From here, you can descend towards the Seethewater River Site of Grace and start exploring the rest of the Altus Plateau.

To get to Volcano Manor, head north until you reach Seethewater Terminus Grace.

Walk through the Fire Monk's campsite and continue following the path until you pass the Hermit's Shack and the Craftsman Shack Site of Grace.

Continue traveling northeast past Hermit Village, ignoring Demi-Human Queen Maggie and going to Primeval Sorcerer Azur Grace.

From here head northeast and walk along the edge of the cliff. Jump on another plateau below you.

If you need a quick checkpoint, you'll find a door that leads to Gelmir Hero's Grave.

Head north until you meet Mad Pumpkin Head, walk northeast along the cliff edge behind it. You will meet the Grafted Scion. Defeat him and climb the stairs that lead to the mountainside.

Take the stairs on the left to the soldier's camp to the north.

From here, continue north by passing a bridge that leads to the 9th Gelmir Campsite of Grace.

Jump onto the Spiritspring or climb the ladder. You don't need to fight the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast above.

Jump onto the steep slope in the western area of the battle arena. Continue down the ramp past the Marionette Soldiers, past the Troll guard to enter Volcano Manor.

From Altus Plateau

If you are already at the Altus Plateau Site of Grace, go north to the main road. Take the branch road heading northeast from the intersection.

You will arrive at the Forest Spanning Greatbridge Site of Grace with a merchant and a Finger Reader Crone.

Near you there will be a teleportation gate that can send you across the valley. Follow the main road north then east.

Ignore all the windmills you encounter on your way down the hill. You will arrive at the Road of Iniquity Site of Grace and meet the Caravan and Writheblood Ruins.

Cross via a wooden bridge and you will arrive at the Bridge of Iniquity Side Path Site of Grace. Head northeast, a place guarded by Iron Virgins.

You will arrive at the Corpse-Stench Shack which has been invaded by Anastasia, the Tarnished Eater who has the Butchering Knife item. Inside the hut itself there is the Golden Vow spell.

Near the Corpse-Stench Shack, there is a ladder that leads up the mountain. Go up the stairs and turn left to reach Mt. The first Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace.

Run through a camp full of soldiers, pass Mad Pumpkin Head, and head northwest along the path.

Jump into the destroyed camp area to fight the Grafted Scion and climb up the next ladder.

Take the stairs on the left which will take you to another merchant. From here, continue up the mountain.

You will reach a plateau with several Soldiers and one Knight. After defeating them, look for a path leading to lower ground.

Look for a bridge to the west which will take you to Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace ninth.

Use the ladder or Spiritspring Jump towards the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast. Head northwest and jump between a gap leading down the hill.

Continue down the hill and turn around, passing the Marionettes and Troll guards to reach the Volcano Manor area.
