Here Are the 21 Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 Teams!

After all the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Fall Season competitions have ended in all countries, the next thing fans have been waiting for the most is the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021!

As you all know, Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 will feature 21 of the best teams from countries in Southeast Asia, who have previously participated in the SEA Icon Series: Fall Season tournament.

Not instantaneously, the 21 teams are the best selected teams who have been carrying out fierce competition for weeks.

This time, League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series SEA Championship 2021 will be joined by the ESL Mobile Challange, and is ready to present all the excitement of the competition that will take place.

This competition will take place from Tuesday, 14 September 2021, to Sunday, 3 October 2021.

Are you curious about the 21 great teams that made it through nine different regions? Here are 21 GG teams that qualified out of a total of 872 teams that took part in the entire Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Fall Season in all countries.

3 Stage Competition Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021

So, in the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021, this competition will have 3 stages, namely:

The first stage/Stage 1, Play-in will be held on Tuesday, September 14 to Sunday, September 19, 2021.

During the Play-in stage, 12 teams will be placed into 3 brackets, and each bracket will use a double elimination format.

After that, 12 teams including 8 teams from the runner-up SEA Icon Series Fall Season in each region, with the addition of 1 team from Taiwan, 1 team from Thailand, and 2 teams from Vietnam. These 3 countries were given additional slots because of their outstanding performance during the previous Summer Super Cup.

All of these teams will later have a fierce battle using a double elimination format (Bo5), interestingly only the last team surviving in each bracket will continue the competition in the next stage!

Then, the second stageStage 2, Group Stage will be held on Thursday, September 23 to Sunday, September 26, 2021.

At this stage, the 3 teams that qualify for the Play-in will face off against the champions of each region/country from the SEA Icon Series Fall Season along with the champions from the ESL Mobile Open: Wild Rift Oceania Championship.

The 12 teams at this stage will be divided into 2 groups that will compete in Single Round Robin (Bo2), and only 4 of the 6 teams will continue to the Playoff stage later!

Lastly, the third stageStage 3, Playoffs will be held from Thursday, September 30 to Sunday, October 3, 2021.

At this stage, teams that perform well during the Group Stage will have more advantages, the first to third seeded teams will immediately enter Upper Bracker Round 1 (2 teams) and Round 2 (1 team) with the Bo5 format.

The losing team will immediately go down to the Lower Bracket (Bo3), while the winning team will continue to advance to the next stage. However, for the Lower Bracket Final it will be carried out in the Bo5 format.

In the final Grand Final match, the two best teams will show their skills, and 1 of them will win the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 title!

Oh yes, different from other match formats, in the Grand Final we will be presented with the excitement of the Bo7 match format.

FYI, apart from fighting over the title, these 21 teams will also be fighting over prizes worth a total of $200,000 or around 2.8 billion more, Vicigers!

Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 will be broadcast in several languages, namely Indonesian, English, Malay, Mandarin, Mandarin Cantonese, Thai, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
